Does anyone else think WWE is starting to false advertise these "guest hosting" concepts?
Every week, they promote a celebrity hosting the next edition of RAW, yet, do we ever see any actual hosting being done? Take last night for example. They were hyping William Shatner as being this week’s special guest "host", but hell, all the man did was hang around backstage while being involved in hilarious/over the top segments and only managed to make an in-ring appearance during the conclusion of the show
Come on, if Shatner were really hosting the show, he’d received a massive introduction at the beginning of the show, he’d introduced himself, call off some of the matches from ringside, take occasional interviewing duties, and even cracking an inconvenient joke here and there. He’d be the main purpose of the show for the night, seen throughout the entire program because he’s supposedly the man in charge.
and I’m not only talking about Shatner, but all of the so called guest "hosts" that we’ve had in the past. The only one that came remotely close to hosting was Dennis Miller, and I applaud him for doing so
Yes, I agree

Yeh its still a great concept but they have to make them more like the GM’s by letting them make matches on Raw and at the PPV
All Shatner also did was make a match for next week as well

Yeah I agree. I like the concept, but seriously. They should have had Shatner come down and tell everyone that he is holding 5 matches to determain who will enter the Elmination Chamber to face Sheamus. I mean… They are slowly fading on the guest host actually HOSTING the show.
Shatner is still a beast.

I think it was somewhat of a good concept but its really over stayed its welcome. I mean yeah its getting the WWE publicity but its taking away from the show at the same time. THey should have a GM like the old days again. Think about some of the great storylines that have come form the gm’s Regal as the GM Angle The war between Bischoff and Stephanie. The Guest Host is getting Old they need a full time GM that can lead to better CONSISTENT stories
