I just got a coupon off Papa John’s Pizzas that is worth $3 off the purchase of Transformer Revenge of the Fallen. The thing is that it doesn’t tell what participating retailers are. I want to use it at FYE because they have the steelbook version. I would drive their and find out but it is miles and I can’t waste gas. No phone number either. Where did you use the coupon? and can you even use it on the two disc version? The picture shows the single disc version.

Funny. The FYE web site lists the address AND phone number for all of the FYE locations.

At the FYE site, click on the "Find a Store Near You" button and enter your zip code in the box just above the map. It will list the stores nearest you.

Just typing in Chicago brings up 10 stores.

Okay so I am a senior in high school, I go to high school in Georgia and I have been in this state since the 7th grade, I want to get out of here. I cannot go to college out of state because it is too expensive, colleges in the Northeast are way too high when it comes to tuition and colleges out west are too high also. I get free tuition for college if I stay in Georgia (I desperately want to go to college out of the state of Georgia).

I have the grades and I will be taking the SAT this October for the second time (made a score of 1710 my first time), I have done a lot in high school but since my parents are Asian (Indian, the worst type of parents and believe me, if you know an Indian person then you know what I am talking about). Over and over, fights between my parents and I have erupted, we have yelled at each other and cussed each other out because of this whole fact that I want to get out of Georgia.

I have caught racial slurs left to right, I have been denied things like football because of my skin color, I have not made many friends, I have been the subject of racism left to right by idiots, and honestly at times I have had suicidal thoughts (I thought about killing myself) because the situation I am in is so desperate. I want to get out of the Deep South for college but my parents won’t let me take out a loan, they won’t help pay for tuition, and I do not want to go to college down South period because I have been through enough down here. Don’t tell me crap like oh thats just one place, I want to get out of the SOUTH PERIOD (if I end up living anywhere below the Mason Dixon line (when I start earning money) then I would consider my life a failure).

I have lived in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, California, and I have been to states like Washington, Illinois, and Oregon and I loved it there.

I cannot even look at my parents now a days, we rarely talk, I rarely share anything with them, and I rarely say anything to them.

Is it possible for me to get out of the Southeast after I finish college because I do not want to live here.

MY QUESTION IS, usually people who desperately want to leave a place, do they ever succeed in doing so?

Yes. but you have to look for an opening – a correct time to move. Plan everything A-Z while considering variable – what may bring you back, what would keep you there – what would be a success. If you don’t have a career planned then are you foregoing some luxuries. Would you be ok working as a pizza delivery or stacking shelves? Can you get a scholarship as well?

jennifer is stessed out from everyday hassles along with losing her mother two years ago and having a miscarriage she is married and is a administrative assistant for a marketing company. she is overwhmled at work behind on housework and is staring to show signs of stess..headaches, backaches, and indigestion. she has begun to question her effectiveness as an employee, wife, daughter, and potential mother.

it sounds like Jenifer may be clinically depressed. Depression will make you feel like you can’t be happy again. It also makes you very tired, It can also bring on other symptoms that have you feeling bad. Cold symptons, body aches etc. She needs to talk to a proffesional so it does’nt get worst. Jenifer has gone through quite a bit, it is enough to make anyone feel inadequate. She will get back to normal the first step is going to get some help. I wish her the best!!

Realize that you can’t do it all!! Get help with the housework either from your husband or hire someone a few hours a week to do the heavy housework. Are you happy with your job or are the office dynamics hard to cope with? If you want children, stress can lead to infertility. You must make a list of your lifes priorities and decide what is most important to you. Once you do this, the stress will lessen.

Excerpts from the book, published on Deadspin.com, allege NBA referees — including current ones — showed favoritism to some players and coaches and disdain for others, prompting Donaghy to bet a certain way.

Donaghy was sentenced to 15 months in prison in July 2008 for his role in a betting scandal, including accepting money from a gambler in exchange for inside information on NBA games.

“After a close legal review of the final manuscript of Blowing the Whistle by Tim Donaghy, and our independent evaluation of some of the author’s sources and statements, Triumph Books and Random House have decided not to go forward with the book’s publication. Our decision is wholly our own and was made without consultation with any outside parties or individuals,” Random House spokesman Stuart Applebaum said in a statement.

Donaghy is free to pitch his book to another publisher, Applebaum said.

The NBA and the referees union maintain Donaghy acted alone in his illicit exchanges and that the league’s referees are impartial.

The book was scheduled for release at the beginning of the NBA season but was cancelled “several weeks ago,” Applebaum said. The NBA denied threatening Random House with a lawsuit, league spokesman Tim Frank said.

“When you publish controversial books, as we often do, it is not unusual for interested parties to contact us with their opinion about our prospective publication,” Applebaum told USA TODAY. “We always listen to what’s being said. The decision as to whether we publish a book is always our own decision based on the manuscript and its veracity and accuracy.”

Applebaum would not say if the NBA contacted Random House.

“In 2008 Mr. Donaghy’s allegations were thoroughly investigated by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office . We are reassured that the U.S. Government completed its investigation finding that the only criminal conduct was that of Mr. Donaghy,” Elizabeth Ventura, senior vice president of communications for the NBA, said in a statement.

After the Donaghy case surfaced, the NBA appointed independent investigator Lawrence Pedowitz to review its officiating program and “Pedowitz’s review revealed that the NBA’s core values of neutrality and accountability were not compromised by anyone other than Mr. Donaghy,” Ventura said.

Donaghy latest claims from the unpublished book will be turned over to Pedowitz, Ventura said.

In their statement, the referees union said: “The National Basketball Referees Association is disappointed, but not surprised, with the actions taken by Tim Donaghy. This continues to be the Tim that we know. He repeatedly attempts to highlight himself in the media, but the 59 NBA referees will continue to officiate games with the utmost integrity and the focus will remain on the 2009-2010 NBA Season.”

I recently heard that Miley Cyrus is hitting puberty, and that she recently got er first chest hair. All of the top gossip blogs are documenting the story, including Perex Hilton and X17 Online. Its even in tabloids like the National Enquirer. To go through puberty that young, she must be one awesome girl. And to Vanessa udgens and Katie Holmes, you were beat by the best, so long for your bare chests. Is it true that Miley Cyrus did just recieve her first chest hair? If so, when do you think she will get that sexy bear chest that all girls are willing to die for? And no, I am not some perv who digs Miley Cyrus. I just find it cute that she is turning into a strong and majestic woman with this recent and important milestone in every young girl’s life.
I also just heard that her six-pack is becoming visible, and her pecs are supposed to become visible in the coming weeks. She’s definitely gonna be the next Arnold Schwarzeneggar.

I mean most songs are talking to a boyfriend or someone. Who was it directed at?

It’s to Bono’s (lead singer) wife, then girlfriend. Here’s what he said about it:

Bono: "The lyric is pure torment. One of the things that was happening at the time was the collision in my own mind between being faithful to your art or being faithful to your lover. What if the two are at odds? Your gift versus domestic responsibility? I had always been the kind of person who would sleep on everyone else’s floor, the eye of the travelling rat, a natural tinker. I would just wander off and be very happy. So now I have this person in my life whom I love more than my life but I’m wondering if the reason I’m not writing is because I’m now a domesticated beast. I’m wondering if I’m house-trained? If I meet somebody and I want to go off with them, to find out what their world is like, I can’t because I’m a married man. It’s not even about sexual infidelity. I just remember thinking: ‘Is this the life of an artist? Am I going to have kids and settle down and betray my gift or am I going to betray my marriage? It was a very difficult thing in my head. I had met a couple of people on the way who had taken advantage of my naivete, is the best way I can put it, and I realized I knew so very little about this world and now, the future looked like I was going to know even less. You can learn about politcs, culture, but your emotional life also has to be developed. I think in some senses mine wasn’t, and I was going through all this kind of uncertainty. I was at least two people: the person who is so responsible, protective and loyal and the vagrant and idler in me who just wants to run from responsibility. I thought these tensions were going to destroy me but actually, in truth, it is me. That tension, it turns out, is what makes me as an artist. Right in the centre of a contradiction, that’s the place to be. There I was. Loyal. But in my imagination filled with wanderlust, a heart to know God, a head to know the world, rock star who likes to run amok and sinner who knows he needs to repent….
If I had cut loose, what would have become of me?"

With Yao already starting at center, and Marcus Camby presumed to be a lock in at one of the backup spots. It can only be assumed that one other center would be taken in the west. Does Amare Stoudermire deserve it for being one of 3 centers averaging over 20 PPG. Or does Chris Kaman deserve for having a monster year so in points, blocks, rebounds and 20-20 games?

I say Chris Kaman will be chosen over Amare

Amare has been lit up all yea on the defensive end and that will probably hurt his case

Kaman’s averaging like 18 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks…those are monster numbers.

He should be in the game over Amare

everyone in his team has been injury and he has been the only bright spot and he has been doing all this on his own even through his teammates’ inconsistent play…can’t say that for Amare who has good teamates who set him up such as Nash, Marion and Barbosa

KAMAN
Dorineous | Jan 24, 2008

You have to pass on Kaman, and take Amare. Stoudamire can play the PF spot, and run. The all star game is all about excitement & fast breaks. Stoudamire is a high flyer who will bring fans out of their seats…thats why i think he goes.

Amare- 23 pts,9 reb’s

Kaman- 17 pts, 14 reb

The west already has enough big bodies with Yao,Camby,Duncan…so look what Amare brings…even though Kaman deserves it. The Nba might find a way for both to go…
DOL-FAN | Jan 24, 2008

Amare Stoudemire
i think chris kaman is overrated.
Old Man | Jan 24, 2008

Amare because the NBAs about money and more people would want Amare because hes more exciting with his dunks and everything
bruuuahhh | Jan 24, 2008

Kaman is having an amazing year. Unfortunately for him, so is Amare, and Stoudemire plays on a much better team and that typically sways those making those choices. In an ideal world, they’d both be there.
joss1925 | Jan 24, 2008

stoudemire is better on the paint than kaman
go w/ stoudemire
anthony f | Jan 24, 2008

I would choose Chris Kaman over Marcus Camby because of his ability to score for a center while his rebounds and blocks production are pretty similar to the Camby man. Amare Stoudemire should also be selected because he’s one of the few big men in the league who consistently racks in 20-10-2 night in / night out.
JR | Jan 24, 2008

Easier question? Which one is better? It’s an All-Star game not a what you have done for me lately game. A player can’t go into the All-Star game for doing what some other player has already done. Amare Stoudemire is must likely going to get a reserve and Clippers are horrible this year.

I really like Marcus Camby and hope he does get in but I just don’t see it, with only 7 spots open. Remember the coaches pick the best players at their respective positions only.
